LA Ballot Match

1. Take a short quiz about where you stand on 14 issues and how much each one matters to you.

2. Enter your address so the site can find the contests on your ballot.

3. See your matches. For each contest, the site shows which choice best lines up with your answers, based on the candidates' own statements and records and the official text of each measure. Every match links to its sources.

Your answers and address stay in your browser. They're saved on this device so a refresh doesn't lose them, and "Start over" erases them. The address is sent once to LA County's address locator (through this site's server, without logging) to find your location. This is a tool for thinking things through, not an instruction on how to vote. Where there isn't enough information, it says so.
